The Work Experience Program introduces secondary school students to the diverse career opportunities available within the Northern Territory Government.
This program provides work experience with an NT Government department for up to 1 week.
Who can apply
Students currently enrolled at a secondary school located in the Northern Territory.

How to apply
1. Obtain parental permission and school endorsement to participate in this program.
2. Complete the Work Experience Program application form by the relevant due date.
Application stages
1. Application: Ensure all documents are completed and signed by all parties and email your completed application to earlycareers@nt.gov.au
2. Matching: The Early Careers team will actively work to identify a suitable NTG placement opportunity for each student. However, placement is not guaranteed and is subject to the availability of suitable opportunities during the intake period.
3. Outcome: The Early Careers team notifies students and school careers coordinator/advisor of the outcome via phone and email.
