Alice Springs Show

Friday 3 – Saturday 4 July 2026
Blatherskite Park, Alice Springs

The Alice Springs Show is one of Central Australia's biggest community events, and it's packed with entertainment from morning until night.

This year's program includes exciting new attractions like Noah's Pig Racing, Hula Hoop Entertainment, the Young Farmers Challenge and Alice Springs Line Dancing, alongside returning favourites including the V8 Utes, Dinkum Dinos, Chainsaw Wood Sculpting, Sandology, Funny Farmers and the ever-popular Dachshund Dash.

Families can also enjoy the petting zoo, poultry, cattle and equestrian events, local displays and plenty of delicious food.

If you're visiting on Saturday, don't miss the live music followed by a spectacular fireworks display to finish the evening.

The Tennant Creek Show is all about community.

People travel from stations, nearby towns and remote communities to spend the day together enjoying one of the Barkly region's favourite annual events.

The Katherine Show and Rodeo has been celebrating the region for more than 60 years and remains one of the Territory's most iconic events.

The Royal Darwin Show is the Territory's largest annual show and offers something for every age.

Over three days, the showgrounds transform into a hub of entertainment featuring carnival rides, animal experiences, live performances, competitions, food vendors and hundreds of local exhibitors.

One of the biggest attractions is the Animal Nursery, where children and adults can get up close with a variety of animals while learning about them in a safe and interactive environment.
