Beata Bednarski
Digital Marketing Professional
“My experience working in the NT has been incredibly rewarding, offering me a perfect balance of flexibility and professional growth opportunities. The supportive environment here has enabled me to thrive both in the public sector and in the vibrant education sector.”
The NT has a way of opening doors to opportunities you might never have expected.
Digital Marketing Professional, Beata Bednarski has lived in Poland and Germany but made the Territory her home after finding the perfect balance between rewarding work and a fulfilling personal life.
“Living in the NT has been a game-changer for me, especially in embracing a lifestyle that balances work with personal joy and community service.”
Beata is employed as a Marketing Officer at the local university, runs her own small business, and contributes to the development of an industry she is so passionate about.
“I am actively involved in the Territory's vibrant small business and digital marketing communities, where I share my digital marketing insights and learn from peers. These engagements enrich my professional knowledge and enable me to contribute meaningfully to the vibrant business ecosystem in the NT.”
“Through these communities and events, I connect with fellow entrepreneurs, fostering a network of collaboration and support.”
Aside from embracing her career in the Territory, Beata also has the time to give back to her community and home she so deeply appreciates.
“I am proud to say that my journey in the NT has not only been about personal advancement but also about giving back to the community.”
“As a mentee in the Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet's Mentoring Program, I received invaluable guidance that propelled my career forward. This experience came full circle when I later became a mentor for Business students at Charles Darwin University, sharing knowledge and fostering the next generation of professionals.”
“I discovered the importance of giving back and found joy in volunteering, something I had not experienced before.”
“Volunteering with Kindness Shake and Foodbank NT has allowed me to connect with the community and contribute to causes that make a real difference. This has affirmed my belief that happiness truly flourishes in relationships, health, and charity.”
Yet, after all of Beata’s social and professional commitments, she still has time to enjoy the things that make the Territory so unique.
“I am just steps away from breathtaking sea views and can enjoy cycling along the beautiful coast every day. It is the small pleasures, like the laid-back markets and local cafes that makes life here so enriching.”
“The community vibe, the connection to nature, and the space to breathe and be present have made the Territory my home.”
To anyone considering making the move and living in the Territory, Beata says, “Go for it. Embrace the journey with an open mind, be present, and make yourself known.”
“The warmth and welcoming spirit of the community here quickly made me feel at home. If you are thinking about it, my experience says you will land on your feet with a new and vibrant community ready to welcome you.”
