"Amidst the pandemic, job security was crucial, and the NTPS provided a stable work environment, recognized as one of the best places to work."

If you have the right skill sets, you will get the job.

Reflecting on the benefits of his NTPS tenure, Joydip highlighted the broad spectrum of opportunities that came his way, allowing him to explore diverse areas within his role.

"The NTPS opened doors to a wide array of opportunities, enabling professional growth and exploration across various domains.”

Offering advice to prospective NTPS applicants, Joydip drew from his experience as an international student, urging candidates not to be discouraged.

"Being an international student, starting anew here was a challenge. My advice? Don't let discouragement deter you. If you possess the right skill sets, you'll secure the job."

Regarding his favourite aspects of the Territory, Joydip expressed admiration for sunsets, the cultural experiences, and the people.

"Darwin offers the most breathtaking sunsets worldwide, each day unique in its own way. It's a region filled with thousands of places to explore and learn diverse cultures. The people here are incredibly friendly, genuine, and informal."

Reflecting on the challenges encountered during the move, Joydip listed relocating from interstate, managing logistics such as sending packages, arranging furniture, and finding a place to rent.

Despite the challenges, Joydip opted to stay in the NT, drawn by the mesmerising sunsets, vast exploration opportunities, the presence of crocodiles, and boundless prospects for growth and development.
