The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure is (DLI) is seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join our team.
Whether your expertise is in building, civil, hydraulics, mechanical, infrastructure, capital works, or major projects or you’re a graduate, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering diverse projects that make a real impact for communities across the NT.

What you’ll do
Project Managers and Senior Project Managers are central to the successful delivery of government infrastructure projects. In these roles, you will:
- Provide high level project coordination, analysis and support across the full project lifecycle
- Lead planning, scheduling, and procurement activities
- Manage consultants, contractors and technical specialists
- Monitor progress to ensure delivery on time, on budget and in line with governance requirements
- Oversee quality, risk, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure projects align with government priorities and community needs
Your work will directly contribute to safe, efficient and future focused infrastructure outcomes across the Territory.
Where you’ll work
Opportunities are available in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek across 3 teams:
- Built Infrastructure – be part of a team to provide technical expertise to deliver public infrastructure projects across the Territory. Projects are diverse in complexity and value.
- Transport and Civil Infrastructure – be involved in connecting the Territory through effective transport infrastructure management and delivery. Project manage and delivery a diverse scale of transport projects.
- Housing and Land Servicing – support the development of housing and community infrastructure across regional and remote communities in the Central and Barkly regions and work hand in hand with stakeholders to support land tenure, remote planning, and sustainable housing in remote Central Australian communities.
