Corporate and Enabling Services
Corporate and Enabling Services aligns projects with organisational and public service goals. The division includes 6 branches.
Provides corporate and executive support across the department. Functions include communications, media and engagement, emergency management, audit, risk and investigations, and secretariat services.
Improves organisational performance by building capability, strengthening the compliance and standardising project delivery.
Provides financial management and advisory services.
Provides policy and legal advice and support to the department.
Manages the purchase of goods and services for the department.
Supports the department through clear strategy, strong governance and a skilled and safe workforce.
Program Delivery
Program Delivery provides infrastructure that supports local, Territory and national priorities on a substantial infrastructure program. The division comprises 4 branches.
Housing and Land Servicing
Plans, designs and delivers housing infrastructure in urban and remote NT areas. The branch also manages land tenure and remote land planning and supports housing and land development projects for government departments.
Transport and Civil Infrastructure
Connects the NT through the effective management of transport and civil infrastructure.
Built Infrastructure
Plans, manages and delivers the NT infrastructure program. The branch also oversees the strategic management and maintenance of NT Government assets.
Corrections Infrastructure
Provides expert advice and manages the planning, design and construction of prisons and other correctional facilities across the NT for the NT Government.
Transport, Safety and Services
Transport, Safety and Services (TSS) provides operational and regulatory transport safety and services across the NT.
TSS leads the NT’s regulatory, licensing and safety functions for transport, overseeing customer service, policy and reform, regulation and compliance, TSS contracts, transit safety and the regional harbourmaster.

The Regions divisions deliver infrastructure that supports local Territory and national priorities on a substantial infrastructure program.
Northern Region
The Northern Region collaborates with communities, businesses and government to support sustainable infrastructure, services and developments across Katherine and Big Rivers and East Arnhem regions.
Southern Region
The Southern Region collaborates with communities, businesses and government to support sustainable infrastructure, services and developments across Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Central and Barkly regions.
Infrastructure NT
Infrastructure NT is the Northern Territory’s central infrastructure division.
The division strategically plans, aligns, develops and delivers enabling infrastructure to support the Territory’s economic and social growth objectives, ensuring sustainable development outcomes for all Territorians.
The division supports key government initiatives including:
- Precincts, Freight and Logistics
- Middle Arm Precinct
- Darwin Region Water Supply Infrastructure Program
- Territory Energy Link
- Darwin Harbour infrastructure projects
- Environment management and approvals.
- Representing and advocating for the Territory’s interests nationally
- Working closely with Infrastructure Australia on business case development for nationally significant infrastructure projects.
