Schools in remote NT are closely connected with community and each visit presented opportunity to meet families, traditional leaders and other agencies working within the communities. of course, after school time fishing and community events were amazing, including Bungul traditional evening singing and dances with everyone. Simply amazing!

Meet Chris. Before his promotion to Assistant Director Client Services, Chris worked as a School Counsellor in East Arnhem Region, building relationships with remote schools in Homelands while being immersed in one of the oldest cultures in the world.

Now Chris leads the multidisciplinary team of allied health and teaching professionals supporting student wellbeing and inclusion in the East Arnhem region and encourages everyone to take opportunities for professional growth.

There are a range of positions for allied health and teaching professionals in the NTG school system across all regions, including leadership roles like Assistant Director Client Services and Practice Leader, as well as essential front-line roles like School Counsellors, Behaviour Advisors and Inclusion Advisors.
