LJ Devlin
Managing Director of Triptic, Alice Springs
“I would highly recommend anyone in the arts and entertainment industry to consider the Northern Territory as their next destination for growth and success. It truly is a gem in the Australian outback."
“The Territory has truly been a game-changing experience for me. "
LJ Devlin, Managing Director of Triptic, moved to Australia from Ireland in 2015, after over a decade working in the arts and entertainment industry in Ireland and Europe. Settling in Alice Springs in mid 2016, she has this to say about living and working in the NT;
"The Northern Territory has truly been a game-changing experience for me. The vibrant and diverse arts and entertainment industry here is unlike any other place in the world. From the bustling streets of Darwin to the breathtaking landscapes of Alice Springs, the NT is pulsating with raw energy and creativity.
Triptic is an Alice Springs based Event Management Company, specialising Event and Operations Management, Site Services and Management, Production and logistics and creative design and build. Established in 2020, Triptic has been involved in events including Parrtjima Festival, Wide Open Space Festival, Henley on Todd Regatta, Bass in the Grass, National Indigenous Music Awards, Bush Bands Bash and many more arts and sproting events. As well as these events, Triptic supports a number of First Nations lead forums and Cultural events.
As an event management company, Triptic has had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and passionate individuals and organizations in the NT. From planning music festivals to art exhibitions, we have been constantly amazed by the level of talent and enthusiasm present in the local scene.
The NT offers endless opportunities for anyone involved in the arts and entertainment industry. The support and resources available here are unparalleled, making it the perfect place for artists, performers, and event planners to thrive and grow. The strong sense of community and collaboration between artists and organisations here is something that I have not seen anywhere else.
Moreover, the Northern Territory government's commitment to promoting and supporting the arts has created a thriving environment for the industry. The grants and funding opportunities available have enabled us to take our events to the next level and bring them to a wider audience.
Working in the NT has truly been a fulfilling experience, both professionally and personally. The unique culture and diverse community have enriched our work in ways we could have never imagined. I would highly recommend anyone in the arts and entertainment industry to consider the Northern Territory as their next destination for growth and success. It truly is a gem in the Australian outback."
