Kim Scott

"Family is everything. We are a very close-knit family and continue traditions to pass on the next generation. It's always family first."
I am a proud Katherine girl- Our family arrived in 1946 and have been here ever since.
Meet Kim Scott, a Katherine born and bred artist. Living in The Territory for 50 years, Kim says "I am a proud Katherine girl- Our family arrived in 1946 and have been here ever since. I love the fact that people are so open and quick to include new residents. People smile and wave to strangers acknowledging them even while driving the long trip to Darwin."
"My main interests are creating art, recording stories, gardening and volunteering- I have felt a huge responsibility to capture the history of Katherine for future generations in books, storytelling and trying to make it palatable and wholistic at the same time."
